Eyewear label Féroce founded by Alexandra Baker, punctuates the nontraditional definition of femininity: unfaltering, confident, and a little bit dangerous. The collection’s sleek silhouettes are a nod to Alexandra's American-French background with a timeless aesthetic accentuated by modern touches. Alexandra most recently served as the COO for New York-based luxury boutique Fivestory. She began her foray into fashion and retail in the design program at Parsons but after a rare opportunity presented itself she left school and started her impressive career. After experiencing firsthand the lack of exquisitely crafted eyewear at a price point that didn't feel burdensome, she decided to fill that gap in the market, which was the birth of Féroce.
What makes you feel like (y)ourself.
I feel most myself when I am surrounded by people and places that inspire me.
Who (or what) inspires you?
I'm always inspired by those who constantly seek to learn more, do more, and be more. Their passion and energy fuels mine.
What's your favorite Ourself product and why?
The Lip Filler. I love the extra plumpness, especially before an event or dinner. It gives me that extra boost.

Any advice on how to live the best version of (y)ourself?
Never wait to pursue what you are passionate about—work on what you're excited about, there is no reason to wait. Success takes time and failure is inevitable on the path forward. The sooner you start, the faster you'll arrive.
